Gratia is the rabbit-eared Knight of Silver Palace, and her official title page names her **Her Majesty's Protégé**: a 5-star Glacies Guardian sworn to the Queen. Elementa posted her page again on October 30, 2026, with new key art and her full profile card.

![Silver Palace Gratia Knight character title page, official art of a rabbit-eared blonde knight in a white uniform with gold epaulettes and a blue tie, seated on blue drapery with a lance across her lap, with the words Gratia Knight across the bottom](/images/blog/silver-palace-gratia-knight-title-page.webp)

## Who is Gratia?

> "O great Detective! I've been waiting ages for you! Fancy a walk around town? We can patrol and catch some evildoers together!"

The flavor text is unchanged from her July card:

> A fiercely loyal knight and a brave (if foolish) follower.
> She raises her sword and shield in the name of knightly honour and the Queen's grace.
>
> Many dark secrets fester beneath the throne. Pray that the enlightened shall descend to deliver us unto salvation.

The quote is new. In July she opened by quoting the Queen ("Routine training shall make the knights stronger... Thus spake Her Majesty the Queen!"). This time she opens by asking you out on patrol. It is a much warmer opening, and it puts the Detective at her side, which is where her story quest left you.

This repost went up under the label "Acquaintance Intel" rather than "Character Title Page", the label the two Detectives got a day earlier.

## What the title page tells us

Gratia sits on a fold of blue drapery with her legs crossed, laughing at the viewer. She wears a white sleeveless uniform with gold fringed epaulettes, a blue tie, white opera gloves, white shorts and black thigh-high boots tied with blue ribbons. A gold clip holds her fringe, and her long blonde hair pools around her. She holds a slim blue-and-silver lance rather than the sword she carries in the key art.

The backdrop looks like a toy shop at night: sunflowers, rabbit plushies, little soldier dolls, strings of coins and brass gears. A rabbit doll in a blue dress sits in the corner at her feet. The nameplate reads "Royalty and Aristocracy", "Gratia, Knight" and "Her Majesty's Protégé".

## The new key art

![Silver Palace Gratia Knight key art, Gratia leaping in profile with her eyes closed and a sword trailing a ribbon of ice, between two armoured knights in tall helms below a winged statue, beside an information card reading Her Majesty's Protégé](/images/blog/silver-palace-gratia-knight-key-art.webp)

The landscape illustration is new with this post. Gratia leaps across the frame in profile with her eyes closed, her ponytail streaming behind her and her sword sweeping a ribbon of ice through the air. Two knights in tall pointed helms stand guard on either side of a pale throne arch, under a winged statue of a crowned woman. The two attendants are the stiff, faceless version of the job. Gratia is the one moving.

The information card on the left reads "Royalty and Aristocracy", "Gratia Knight" and "Her Majesty's Protégé", with the **Guardian** and **Glacies** icons. The caption on the right reads:

> "My goal is to become a knight that everyone can be proud of! An agenda? What on earth is that?"

That second sentence is the joke the whole character is built on. Everyone around the throne has an agenda, and she is the one person who does not know the word.

## Her profile card

The third image is the first public look at her profile entry. It reads:

| Entry | Text |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Interests and Skills | Wrestling, shield training, and horsemanship. |
| Likes | Gaining the Queen's recognition, being a knight, maintaining one's armour, tales of justice, cats, carrots, and leafy vegetables. |
| Dislikes | The chess and poetry championed in the Seven Chivalric Arts, all things evil, and all mistakes she's made in the past. |

Carrots and leafy vegetables are the rabbit showing through, and they explain why she called the moon a carrot cake in the [Mid-Autumn art](/blog/silver-palace-gratia-mid-autumn-festival-art). Cats are a stranger pick for a rabbit, and a sweeter one.

The skills line is the one to compare. Her in-game profile lists "slot machines" as a fourth skill. The public card drops it and keeps the three that sound like a knight. Horsemanship stays in, which is a brave choice for someone whose quest begins with the Queen's horse running away from her.

Her dislike of chess and poetry is the most telling line on the card. Both are on the medieval list of seven knightly skills, and the [bunny knight lore post](/blog/silver-palace-bunny-knight-gratia-who-is-she-really) covers why a knight who refuses to learn chess reads like a piece being moved on someone else's board.

## Her Motive, posted as Hidden Pages

Later the same day Elementa posted her Motive, The Chivalry Mystery, under a new "Hidden Pages" label. It is the bleakest text on her: "the Knights' reputation has yet to recover since the airship incident." It also says why she got the job. Someone wants an honest face for a discredited order.

The full text is on [The Chivalry Mystery](/motives/chivalry-mystery), and the [bunny knight lore post](/blog/silver-palace-bunny-knight-gratia-who-is-she-really) works through who "the young woman in a position of power" is likely to be.

> Hidden Pages | The Chivalry Mystery
>
> The chivalry sung of in epics has grown faint, and the Knights' reputation has yet to recover since the airship incident.
> To protect the weak, does that do injustice to anyone? To serve the nobility, what then of the people? The knight with rabbit ears handles the dangers within her sight, confronts the crises within her reach, and does nothing that goes against her conscience.
> A guileless heart... turns out to be a strength as well.

## In the story

In the Dichotomy beta, three street children hire the Detective to find Gratia after she goes into hiding. She has lost the Queen's prototype Silverium steed before the Royal Equestrian Tournament, a contest she has trained for years and never won. She finds the horse, names him Top Hat after your hat, and gets disqualified for flying him into a harpy attack to protect the crowd. The Queen's Herald then admits the attack was staged. The [Silver Palace story recap](/blog/silver-palace-story-recap) has the full quest, and the [July title page post](/blog/silver-palace-gratia-knight) covers her first reveal.
