Every Hilbert's Hotel clear pays a Membership Stamp, and the stamps have one use: activating nodes on this tree. What you activate stays activated. That makes it the only part of the hotel that carries over between runs, since Catalysts and Mementos both expire when the crawl ends.
The tree in the Dichotomy beta. The large node on the left is Welcome Bonus, where every route starts.
Three lanes and a gate
The tree is 7 columns wide and reads left to right. Welcome Bonus opens it for 20 stamps, then it splits into three lanes:
- Economy lane (6 nodes, 500 stamps). Vouchers, free Catalysts and Catalyst refreshes. Makes every run richer.
- Combat lane (5 nodes, 400 stamps). ATK, CRIT and the two multipliers at the end. Makes every fight shorter.
- Survival lane (5 nodes, 400 stamps). HP, healing, DEF, then Privilege Card refreshes. Keeps a weak team alive.
All three lanes cost the same 300 stamps to walk end to end along the main line. The lanes cross at Tier 3, where Foreclosure links combat to survival and Front Desk Perks links combat to economy.
The end of each lane feeds Lucky Perks, the node the game draws with a 1/3 counter. Three lines run into it, one per lane, and the counter suggests that finishing any one lane opens it. The Dichotomy beta screenshots only ever show it locked, so treat that as what the screen says rather than something tested. If it holds, the cheapest route to the gate is 420 stamps.
The far end of the tree: Lucky Perks with its 1/3 counter, and the four pool expansions behind it. The red labels are a tester's own notes, not game UI.
Which lane to fill first
Combat. Master Keycard and Golden Reputation are the two strongest nodes on the tree that do something in every fight: 50% more DEF Ignore and 10% Final DMG, on top of the ATK and CRIT the lane gives you on the way there. 300 stamps for that is the best deal here.
The economy lane is the second pick and the better one if your runs are dying from a thin build rather than from damage taken. Exclusive Allowance starts every run with another 100 Hilbert's Hotel Vouchers on top of the 100 from Welcome Bonus, Asset Appreciation adds 10% to the Vouchers each battle pays, two more nodes hand you a free Catalyst, and the end of the lane unlocks Catalyst refreshes. None of it touches a fight directly, but a richer run drafts better.
The survival lane is the one to leave for last. Max HP, healing and DEF help a team that is losing fights, and its end unlocks refreshes for Privilege Cards, the run buffs you draft between rooms. A team that is clearing comfortably gets very little from it.

The pool expansions
The four Tier 7 nodes carry no description of their own. Each one lists cards instead, and the name says what it does with them: the two Ledger Expansions add top-rank Privilege Cards to the pool you draft from, and the two Storage Upgrades add Catalysts.
The Privilege Cards are the strongest thing on the tree. Singularity Near III gives the whole team +90% CRIT DMG and Infinite Series·III gives +40% DMG Bonus, which is more than any permanent node above. They are still drafted, though, so they raise your ceiling on a good run rather than your floor on every run.
Achievements
Two achievements track the tree. VIP Treatment asks you to activate half or more of all Membership Privileges. That is 11 nodes, and if you take the root and the 6 50-stamp nodes first it costs 720 stamps. Permanent SVIP asks for all 22, which is the full 1,820.
Frequently asked questions
What are Membership Privileges in Hilbert's Hotel?
Membership Privileges are the permanent upgrade tree in Hilbert's Hotel. There are 22 nodes across 7 tiers, and each one is activated with Membership Stamps, the currency every Hilbert's Hotel clear pays. Unlike Catalysts and Mementos, which expire when a run ends, an activated privilege applies to every run after it.
How many Membership Stamps do you need for every privilege?
1,820 in total. One node costs 20, 6 cost 50 and the other 15 cost 100. A Difficulty V clear paid 100 stamps in the Dichotomy beta, so the full tree is 19 clears at that rate.
Which Membership Privileges should you unlock first?
The combat lane. Ironclad Security, Tactical Clearance, Golden Reputation and Master Keycard cost 300 stamps together and add ATK, CRIT Rate, 10% Final DMG and 50% more DEF Ignore to every fight in every run. The economy lane pays off only inside a run, and the survival lane matters only if your team is dying.
What does the 1/3 node in Membership Privileges do?
The 1/3 node is Lucky Perks, which increases the chance that a Catalyst will be Boosted. Three lines run into it, one from the end of each lane, and the counter reads 1/3, which suggests any one finished lane opens it. That puts the cheapest route to it at 420 stamps. Behind it sit the four pool expansions.
Is there an achievement for Membership Privileges?
Two. VIP Treatment asks you to activate half or more of all Membership Privileges, which is 11 nodes and can be done for 720 stamps if you take the cheap ones first. Permanent SVIP asks for all 22.
