Pre-Launch Tier List

Tier list based on CBT data and gameplay footage. Subject to change at launch.

This is the Silver Palace character tier list, our ranking of every revealed unit based on Closed Beta Test data and gameplay footage. Because the game has not launched, treat every placement here as a working snapshot rather than a verdict — kits, numbers, and even rosters routinely shift between a closed beta and a live release, so the list is explicitly subject to change at launch.

The ranking below sorts characters into S, A, B, and C tiers, with a separate TBA bucket for units whose kits have been teased but not officially detailed. We only place a character once we have enough beta footage or official material to justify it; everything else waits in TBA until its kit is revealed. If you are deciding who to chase, pair this list with our reroll guide for pull priority.

Tier lists are a starting point, not a script. Team composition, elemental matchups, and your own investment can lift a lower-ranked unit well above its slot, so read this alongside the elements and classes guide and our beginner's guide before committing resources.

Quick Answer

Two five-star DPS units, Detective and Cinderella, sit at the top in S tier. Argos, a four-star Support, anchors A tier, while the four-star DPS Alf holds B tier. Three more units — Lorin, Firtho, and Cynthia II — are parked in TBA until their kits are officially revealed, and C tier is currently empty. All placements are based on CBT data and gameplay footage and are subject to change at launch.

If you are rerolling, the five-star S-tier DPS units are the priority targets, with Argos a strong and more obtainable backbone for any team. Everything else is a solid pickup but not worth resetting an account over.

How We Rank Characters

Our tiers answer one question: how much does a character raise your odds across the content we have actually seen? S tier covers must-have units for any team, A tier covers excellent additions, B tier covers good early-game options, and C tier covers average units that are usable but outclassed. The TBA tier exists so we never guess — a unit stays there until its kit is officially detailed rather than being slotted on speculation.

Rarity matters but does not decide placement on its own. A four-star like Argos can outvalue a flashier pull because it is easier to obtain and build, while a five-star can still land mid-list if its kit is narrow. We weigh role coverage, ease of building, and how a unit performs in real teams, which is why we point you toward the combat guide and the resonance system to understand the mechanics that make these rankings move.

S Tier

S tier is reserved for the units that meaningfully carry teams across nearly all content. Right now both seats belong to five-star DPS characters, which reflects how much raw damage shapes the early meta we have been able to observe.

Detective is the main protagonist, a versatile five-star DPS guaranteed to be well-rounded — a safe, flexible anchor for any roster. Cinderella is the other five-star DPS, built around a unique dual weapon system that delivers high burst damage and strong single-target DPS. Both are prime reroll targets.

Character Tier Rarity Role
Detective S 5★ DPS
Cinderella S 5★ DPS

A Tier

A tier holds excellent characters that strengthen most teams without being strictly mandatory. The standout here is a Support, and its value comes as much from accessibility as from its kit.

Argos is a four-star Support with excellent, therapeutic healing abilities, and it is easier to obtain and build than the top five-stars — which makes it one of the best long-term investments on the whole list for newer accounts.

Character Tier Rarity Role
Argos A 4★ Support

B Tier

B tier covers good, solid options that hold up in early game even if they may fall off later. These units fill team gaps well but ask more of the player than the tiers above.

Alf is a four-star DPS with good AoE damage and unique mechanics, but it requires more management to get the most out of, which keeps it below the more plug-and-play picks.

Alf B 4★ DPS

TBA — Awaiting Official Kit Details

These characters have been teased with an element and a likely role, but their kits have not been officially revealed, so we will not assign them a competitive tier yet. Placing them on speculation is exactly the kind of guesswork this list avoids — they move into S through C only once their abilities are confirmed.

Lorin is a five-star Ice Support whose kit details are pending reveal. Firtho is a four-star Lightning DPS, also awaiting details. Cynthia II is a five-star Light DPS in the same holding pattern. Check the elements and classes guide for how Ice, Lightning, and Light play once these kits are confirmed.

Character Tier Rarity Role
Lorin TBA 5★ Support
Firtho TBA 4★ DPS
Cynthia II TBA 5★ DPS

C Tier

C tier is for average units that are usable but outclassed by better options in the same role. It is currently empty — no revealed character has landed here yet — and units will only drop into it if launch data shows them being consistently outperformed.

How To Use This Tier List

Lean on the tiers to set priorities, not to dictate your roster. S-tier units are the best in the game and your top reroll targets; A-tier units carry you through most content and are worth keeping; B-tier units are useful early and good for filling gaps. Above all, team synergy and personal skill matter — some lower-tier characters excel in specific compositions, and a unit you enjoy and invest in often outperforms one you ignore.

For deeper context on the systems behind these rankings, see our combat guide and the dichotomy beta overview. And because nothing here is final until launch, expect this list to be revised as new kits are revealed and balance settles.
