Cinderella: Silver Palace Character Title Page
"Cinderella": The Vengeful Ant
Silver Palace has revealed the official character title page for Cinderella, the woman also known behind the persona as Ashley. Her tagline reads: The Vengeful Ant.

Who is Cinderella?
"Truth and lies, kindness and deceit... I will be fooled by them no longer."
The title page's flavor text frames her as a survivor forged by grief:
A woman of secrets with a thirst for vengeance. Sensitive, thrifty, and keenly observant, she has long been weighed down by insecurities about her roots.
She once allied with the Detective due to their common goals, but went her own way when those goals no longer aligned.
Now she is burning away the last vestiges of her life for a final showdown.
That last image is where her codename comes from: magma long suppressed beneath the weight of years, smouldering in silence until it breaks, an eruption born of endurance in a body forged like unyielding stone. Thus known as "Cinderella."
What the title page tells us
The art shows Cinderella with long white hair and red irises with pale pupils, crowned by a sun-like headpiece and framed by drifting embers. In her hands sit the two weapons that define her kit: a flame sword and a machine gun, the dual sword-and-gun system that lets her swap between melee combos and sprayed gunfire. The Silver Palace logo sits in the corner, with her name and the tagline "The Vengeful Ant" printed beneath.
Her look reads as regal and scorched at once, which matches the story: a lady of secrets presenting a polished front while the fire underneath does the real work.

The vengeance behind the crown
The title page's tagline lands harder once you know her story. In the Dichotomy Beta, Ashley talks her way into the Detective's employ by posing as a Royal Academy graduate who asks for no wages, offering only a riddle she calls the "mystery of the stolen silver." In truth she is one of the Cinderellas herself, a survivor of the Silverium extraction at the United Vermentum Works factory, and she engineered her hiring so the Detective would uncover the truth she could not chase alone.
Behind the scenes she spends what little she saves paying the assassin Red Rose to protect the Detective again and again, including an engineered werewolf disturbance that pulls him clear of Superintendent Rex. When the leads turn deadly and suspicion falls on her, Ashley slips away. At Bridgehead's company docks she thanks the Detective, calls him her prince, and leaves to take her revenge alone.
