How to sign up for the Dichotomy Beta Test

Two routes get you into the recruitment pool. You can use both.

1. Fill out the recruitment survey. Go to the official Silver Palace site, click "Beta Sign-Up" on the homepage, and complete the survey — or jump straight to the recruitment survey linked from the latest trailer. This is the main path. The test is 18+, so the form screens for age.
2. Join the social-media events. Follow the official Silver Palace channels and take part in the events they run during the recruitment window. There's a Follow & RT giveaway live on X right now — retweet the pinned post for a shot at Test Access (×10) or a random Detective Character Stand (×10). That giveaway closes July 9, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8), earlier than the main survey, so don't sit on it.

Already cleared the Monotype survey? You're set. Anyone who qualified for Dichotomy through the earlier "Monotype" Beta Test survey can head straight to the official site and hit "Check Test Access" to confirm — no need to re-apply.

What kind of test is this?

Manage your expectations going in. This is a small-scale beta, and Elementa has been clear about three things:

• Full data wipe after the test — nothing carries over.
• No in-game purchases. No spending, no monetization to evaluate.
• Under development. Every build in this test is work-in-progress and not representative of the final release. Performance, stability, and graphics are still being tuned.

In other words: you're here to play an unfinished game and report what breaks, not to build a save file.

PC system requirements

Dichotomy is PC (Windows) only this round — no console, no mobile. The full minimum and recommended specs:

The storage line is the one people miss: budget 65 GB free on an SSD, and a temporary extra 25 GB while the client unpacks. Qualified testers are contacted by email — so use an address you actually check, and watch the spam folder. Once qualifications are sent out, go to the official site and click "Check Test Access" to confirm your eligibility. That button is the source of truth for your status.

Rules worth knowing before you accept

A couple of restrictions catch people off guard:

• Your access is bound to your first-login device. Log in from a different device afterward and you risk an account ban and disqualification from the rest of the test. Pick the machine you'll actually play on, first.
• No transferring or selling the test client or your test account. Doing so gets your testing privileges revoked immediately. Ignore anyone offering to sell you access — that's the scam this rule exists to kill.
• Eligibility is single-use. It applies to this beta only and can't roll over to a future test or be handed to someone else.
