When Dichotomy Ends: The Data Wipe and What Comes Next

The Dichotomy beta closes on August 13, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8). When it does, every account is wiped: characters, progress, currency, pulls, all of it. Nothing carries into the next test and nothing carries into launch.

That is standard for a closed beta, but it is worth planning around rather than discovering. Here is what actually happens on the 13th, what you should do before then, and what is known about the test after this one.

Quick Answer

The Dichotomy beta ends August 13, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8). All player data is wiped with no transfer to future tests or to the full release. Completing the in-test feedback survey is the stated route to being automatically considered for the next test. Elementa has not announced a third beta, a release date, or any pre-registration rewards tied to Dichotomy participation.

What Gets Wiped

Everything you built during the test:

  • Character levels, ascension and Reactor progress
  • Every unit you pulled, including 5-star units
  • Currency, Mind Shards and pull history
  • Motives and Catalysts
  • Story progress and case completion
  • Real Estate holdings
  • Minigame progress, including Scarlet Gambit runs

There were no in-game purchases during the test, so there is nothing to refund and no spend to protect. This is a clean reset, which is the point of a data-resetting test.

What Carries Forward

Nothing mechanical. What does carry forward is knowledge, and there is more of it in this build than there was in Monotype.

The combat loop you learned (parry timing, the Stun gauge, Execute windows, stamina management) is the same loop that ships. The interrogation system works the way it works. The tier list built on Dichotomy data is the best available read on the roster going into launch, even though kit numbers can still move.

If you are playing the back half of the test, that is a reason to experiment rather than optimise. Nothing you build survives, so the value is in finding out what the systems do.

The Feedback Survey

This is the one action with a consequence past August 13. Completing the in-test feedback survey is the stated qualifier for automatic consideration in the next test.

Do it before the servers close. Once the test ends, the window closes with it. It is the only mechanism anyone has been given for improving their odds on the next round, and it costs a few minutes.

Is There a Third Beta?

Elementa has not announced one. What is known:

  • The survey language points at a further test rather than straight to launch
  • No dates, no name, no platform details have been published
  • Silver Palace has not announced a release date at all

The pattern so far is Monotype in January 2026, Dichotomy in July 2026. Two tests roughly six months apart. That is a pattern of two data points, which is not a schedule, so treat any specific prediction about a third test with suspicion.

The game remains announced for PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but both betas to date have been Windows PC only. A test that includes mobile or console clients would be a meaningful signal that launch is close. See our release date page for the current status.

What to Do Before August 13

If you are in the test, a short list:

  1. Complete the feedback survey. The only action with consequences past the wipe.
  2. Fight Vita et Mors properly. The prologue boss is the cleanest telegraph teaching in the build. Learning the parry rhythm on it pays off at launch.
  3. Try the systems you skipped. The minigames, the forensic sequences, the districts you did not walk. Nothing is worth hoarding time for when it all deletes.
  4. Test interrogation approaches deliberately. Pick the wrong option on purpose once. It costs nothing now and teaches you the system.
  5. Record what you want to remember. Screenshots and clips survive the wipe. Your account does not.

What to Watch After

Elementa's convention schedule runs through the back half of 2026, with Anime NYC in August and stops continuing into the autumn. Expo appearances have consistently been where new characters and systems get shown first, and our world tour schedule tracks the stops.

Beyond that, the signals worth watching are a release date announcement, a test that includes a non-PC client, and pre-registration milestone rewards, none of which have been announced yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the Silver Palace Dichotomy beta end?

August 13, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8). The test started July 23, 2026, giving it a three-week window.

Does Dichotomy beta progress carry over?

No. All player data is wiped when the test ends. Characters, currency, pulls, story progress and everything else is deleted, with no transfer to future tests or to the full release.

How do I qualify for the next Silver Palace beta?

Complete the in-test feedback survey before the test ends. That is the stated route to being automatically considered for the next test. Elementa has not announced when or whether a third beta will run.

Will there be a CBT3 for Silver Palace?

Elementa has not announced a third closed beta. The feedback survey language refers to a following test, but no dates, name or platform details have been published.

Did the Dichotomy beta have in-game purchases?

No. There were no purchases during the test, so there is nothing to refund when the data is wiped.
