Silver Palace Alf Guide: Flamethrower Maid Build
Alf, Silver Palace's 4-star Ignis Hero with a shotgun-flamethrower: her AoE damage role, build direction, and why she's a free-to-play Fire-team staple.

A Story Truly Yours
Maid
★★★★
C tier (Narrow)
Alf breaks poise and does respectable damage while doing it, and her Ultimate refills all six Reserve Ammo for an immediate second shotgun sequence. The problem is Lorin, who carries 37.5% Stun Buildup Bonus in nodes against her 25% and does not have to stop to reload. Her Reserve Ammo regenerates at 0.2 per second, so the combo keeps breaking off to restock through the third-hit charge. She is the best Ignis poise breaker because she is the only one, which is a real reason to build her if that slot is empty.
See the full tier list"The most important job of a maid is to protect her employer!" A speckless home, a speckless soul. Although Alf is quite clumsy in all manner of mundane household chores, she is surprisingly dependable during fights. Alf usually confronts enemies with her shotgun; activating the Reactor on her back converts the shotgun into a flamethrower, spewing fires that reduce enemies into cinders. Maid No. 49 of the Maid Institute, Society, and Services (MISS), she learned of the Detective's kind nature and chose to stick around, carrying only two weapons: a flamethrower, and a bulletproof innocent heart. 'NO WEAPONS in the kitchen.' A memo from the Detective, posted on the fridge door.
In the Dichotomy Beta story, Alf is the first assistant candidate Lorin brings to the Detective, and she fails every test: she cannot spell, has no idea how to brew tea, and her smooth, uncalloused hands and brand-new reactor mark her as a stranger to hard work. Undeterred by the rejection, she simply refuses to leave and appoints herself guardian of the reopened office.
That stubbornness pays off. When the journalist Grimm sneaks in, Alf thrashes him and throws him out, unknowingly protecting the notebook he had come to hide, evidence that later cracks the Cinderellas case wide open. The rest of her showcase is comedy and heart: salty tea from mixing up the salt and sugar, self-taught baking timed by waiting for the 'boom', a staring contest won against a crow, and pocket money quietly saved to buy the Detective a gift.
Maid No. 49 of MISS, as she introduced herself; a clueless yet determined girl.
Despite being surprisingly reliable in the heat of battle, she is unfortunately blessed with zero common sense, the inability to read the room, and terrible housekeeping skills. You'd do well to keep her out of the kitchen.

An Ignis poise breaker who chains shotgun attacks for Reserve Ammo and personal Stun Buildup. The Ultimate's flamethrower wall builds a large amount of stun and refills her ammo, so a second shotgun sequence follows immediately.
Run the Basic Attack combo
The 3rd hit spends Reserve Ammo, or charges forward to restock when the reserve is empty
Mix in Zeroth Shell and the Charged Attack
Varying the shotgun attacks is what stacks her Stun Buildup Bonus
Tap Dodge or Parry straight after a shotgun attack
The Passive turns it into a follow-up shot, so defending does not cost you offence
Press Ultimate for the flamethrower wall
Large stun contribution and 6 Reserve Ammo back at once
Run a second shotgun sequence, then swap to your carry
The target should be at or near stunned, ready for an Execution
Implement stats are fixed rather than rolled, so a set is a decision you make once. The short answer is Elitism. See the equipment guide for how the four slots and the Epiphany fit together.
DMG Bonus +8%Increases the holder's DMG by 8%. When the character's DMG Bonus exceeds 30%, they also gain 1 stack of Lightning whenever they use a Skill, increasing their Stun Buildup Bonus by 12.5% for 14s. Stacks up to 2 times.
Why Alf: Her strengths list respectable damage for a poise breaker, and Elitism pays both jobs at once: the flat DMG Bonus feeds the damage, and once DMG Bonus clears 30% every Skill use adds Stun Buildup on top of the stun her shotgun chains already generate.
Stun Buildup Bonus +25%Increases the holder's Stun Buildup Bonus by 25%. When the character's Stun Buildup Bonus exceeds 100%, landing a Basic Attack on an enemy or performing a Perfect Dodge grants 1 or 3 stacks of All In respectively. Each stack of All In increases their Charged DMG by 3% for 8s, stacking up to 3 times.
Why Alf: Reserve Ammo is banked by chaining shotgun attacks, so the Basic Attack trigger fires constantly and the flat Stun Buildup goes straight into her poise breaking.
Break Exploit +60Increases the holder's Break Exploit by 60. When the character's Break Exploit exceeds 200, they also gain 25% Stun Buildup Bonus for 14s whenever they perform a Charged Attack.
Why Alf: Break Exploit is the purest poise-breaking stat if you want her stunning faster rather than hitting harder.
One Epiphany per character, and the effect never changes: duplicates raise the substats and leave the effect text alone. The short answer is Farewell, Chivalrous Age. See the equipment guide for where the slot sits, or all 30 Epiphanies.
Increases the holder's Break Exploit by 100. Their Basic Attacks grant 1 stack of Chivalrous Dream on hit. At 5 stacks, this triggers Fearless Blade, increasing Stun Buildup Bonus by 50% for 8s. Dodging or Parrying attacks immediately grants 5 stacks of Chivalrous Dream.
Why Alf: 100 Break Exploit is the largest single grant of it, and Chivalrous Dream stacks on Basic Attack hits. Her shotgun chain reaches 5 stacks quickly, and the Ultimate refills Reserve Ammo for a second sequence inside the 8 second Fearless Blade window.
Break Exploit +130Increases the holder's Stun Buildup Bonus by 25%. When their Stun Buildup Bonus exceeds 100%, each 1% over 100% grants 0.64% ATK, up to a maximum of 36%.
Why Alf: Converts Stun Buildup Bonus above 100% into 36% ATK, so the stun she is built for starts paying in damage. It needs the Bonus already stacked high, which is why it is the second pick rather than the first.
Break Exploit +100Increases the holder's Break Exploit by 60. When their Break Exploit exceeds 180, each 1 point of Break Exploit over 180 grants 0.3% Stun Buildup Bonus, up to a maximum of 60%.
Why Alf: The Lv.20 entry point: 60 Break Exploit, then 0.3% Stun Buildup Bonus for every point past 180. It does the same job as Farewell, Chivalrous Age at a fraction of the account level.
Alf gains 6 Reserve Ammo when she uses a Headbutt.
Increases Alf's Ultimate DMG by 20%.
Alf's melee, shotgun, and flamethrower attacks increase her ATK by 2% for 16s on hit, effects stacking separately for each attack type.
Upon using Tactical Assault, Alf's Stun Buildup Bonus is increased by 7% for 16s.
After Alf uses her Ultimate, she increases the Ignis DMG of all characters on the team by 15% for 40s.
Increases Alf's Final DMG by 10%.

Ignis poise breaker with a team Ignis damage Psyche
Ignis damage means the team's Ignis and crit buffs are not wasted on her, and one of her Psyches raises team Ignis damage further.
She can carry real crit gear, so the team-wide CRIT DMG buff is not spent on a unit that cannot use it.
Pro Tip: Check the team building guide for how the four slots, attribute sharing, and the Power budget fit together.
