All Silver Palace Characters: Tier List, Elements & Roles (2026)

This is the corrected, beta-verified roster. If you've seen tier lists claiming Lorin is a female ice 5★ or Alf wields gravity, those copied bad early data. The list below reflects the Monotype closed beta and current community consensus, updated June 2026.

One caveat up front, because it's the honest one: Silver Palace hasn't launched. There's no live meta, no published skill multipliers, and no banner schedule. These tiers come from beta footage and community testing, not from months of endgame data — so treat them as a planning guide, not gospel. We won't invent skill names or numbers to fill gaps.

How the character system works

Combat Style is Silver Palace's confirmed gameplay role system, revealed via the latest expo preview footage: Resonator Output, Striker Output, Break Oppressor, Combat Vanguard, and Survival Healer (the Motives guide has the full detail). An earlier version of this guide used a fabricated "5 Identities" framework (Hero, Guardian, Witness, Shadow, Sage) that does not match any confirmed source. Which Combat Style each character actually carries is not officially confirmed yet; the roster table below uses this site's own inferred read based on each character's kit, marked with an asterisk.

Inferred Combat Style* Reads like
Striker Output Front-line damage through skills
Combat Vanguard Durable front-line / buffs
Survival Healer Backline support, healing/shielding

Elements number six: Ignis (Fire), Glacies (Ice), Gravitas (Gravity), Aer (Air), Fulmen (Lightning), and Radiatio (Light). Crucially, Silver Palace doesn't use Genshin-style elemental reactions. It uses Resonance: stack matching elements and the whole party gets stronger. So team-building is about element stacking, not reaction chains.

The confirmed roster

Character Rarity Element Combat Style* Weapon Full guide
Detective 5★ Adaptable** Striker Output Sword + Gun + cane Guide
Cinderella 5★ Ignis Striker Output Flame sword + machine gun Guide
Cynthia II 5★ Ignis Survival Healer TBA Guide
Alf 4★ Ignis Striker Output Shotgun / flamethrower Guide
Lorin 4★ Fulmen Combat Vanguard Electric boxing gloves Guide
Argos 4★ Unconfirmed** Survival Healer Cane gun Guide
Firtho 4★ Radiatio Combat Vanguard Saw cleaver + syringes Guide

* Combat Style assignments are this site's inferred read of each character's kit, not an officially confirmed mapping. The 5 Combat Style category names themselves are confirmed from the latest expo preview footage.

** The Detective and Argos have unconfirmed elements in current data. We've left them as-is rather than guessing.

Not on this list: Red Rose, the flame-wielding dancer from the trailers, is a non-playable NPC and boss. Some lists wrongly treat her as a recruitable unit.

Current tier list (Monotype beta consensus)

S Tier

Character Why
Detective Guaranteed 5★ you always own and can always build. Availability alone makes the MC a safe top pick.
Cinderella The premier 5★ Ignis carry — flexible melee-and-ranged single-target burst, and a story anchor.

A Tier

Character Why
Cynthia II 5★ Ignis Witness. A same-element support that strengthens a Fire core's Resonance instead of diluting it.
Alf 4★ Ignis Hero with flamethrower AoE — punches above her rarity in Fire teams and costs no pull.

B Tier

Character Why
Lorin Durable 4★ Fulmen Guardian with wide shock crowd-control. Beginner-friendly, just short on specialized utility.
Argos Accessible 4★ support that keeps teams alive — reliable, element-flexible, a solid early enabler.
Firtho 4★ Radiatio Guardian; strongest inside a Light team that wants her cleansing, generic outside one.

Tiers will shift once the game launches and an endgame meta exists. Bookmark this — we update it as the roster grows.

Best teams and Resonance

The standout team the beta practically handed players is a Fire core:

Slot Character Element Job
Main DPS Cinderella Ignis Single-target burst
AoE DPS Alf Ignis Crowd clear
Support Cynthia II Ignis Control + Resonance
Flex Detective / sustain Fill to taste

Three Ignis bodies trigger a higher Resonance tier — a meaningful team-wide ATK and Fire-damage boost. Match your fourth slot to the content: a durable Guardian for survival, or the Detective tuned to Fire.

Build priorities by role

Using the documented Motives framework, gear toward your unit's inferred Combat Style:

Inferred Combat Style Main stats Substats
Striker Output / Resonator Output (damage) ATK%, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, Elemental DMG Energy Recharge, flat ATK
Combat Vanguard / Break Oppressor (front-line) HP%, DEF% Energy Recharge, sustain
Survival Healer (support) Energy Recharge, Healing/Buff potency, HP% ATK% only on damage-supports

Crit-scaling carries want a rough 1:2 CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG balance. Supports and front-line units prioritize ability uptime, so Energy Recharge comes first.

Pull priority (pre-release planning)

There's no live banner schedule, so this is planning advice, not a pull order:

  1. Build the Detective first — guaranteed, always relevant, no pull needed.
  2. Anchor an element core. Fire is the obvious starter thanks to Cinderella, Cynthia II, and Alf.
  3. Don't pre-spend. Save toward whichever 5★ leads your preferred element once banners are dated.

For the bigger picture, the Monotype beta recap covers what the test revealed about the game's direction.

FAQ

Who is the best character in Silver Palace?

Pre-launch, the Detective (guaranteed availability) and Cinderella (premier Fire carry) lead the list. Tiers are based on beta footage and will shift once the live meta settles.

Is Lorin a 5-star ice support?

No — that's bad early data. Lorin is a male 4★ Fulmen (Lightning) Guardian who fights with electric boxing gloves.

Does Silver Palace have elemental reactions like Genshin?

No. It uses a Resonance system: stacking matching elements grants party-wide bonuses, rather than triggering reactions between different elements.

What's the best starting team?

A Fire core — Cinderella, Alf, and Cynthia II, rounded out with the Detective or a sustain unit — is the team the beta steered players toward and a strong default to aim for at launch.
