Argos (Bartender): Silver Palace Character Title Page
Argos (Bartender): The Eye of Argos
Silver Palace has revealed the official character title page for Argos, listing his class as Bartender and badging him to MISS, the Maid Institute, Society, and Services. His tagline reads: The Eye of Argos.

Who is Argos?
"At your service, as always, patron. Whether we're charging into battle, or clinking a glass together."
The title page's flavor text sets him up as two things at once:
An eloquent gent of a bartender, and a mysterious watcher of the shadows.
Usually seen twirling his cocktail shaker with his cane gun close at hand; the former is a tool for hosting friends, and the latter is a weapon for handling trouble.
He lends an ear to all, from fallen nobles to those caught in the currents of a society in upheaval. And so, he sees all that transpires in Silvernia, all events both big and small.
What the title page tells us
The tagline is the load-bearing detail. The Eye of Argos is not decoration: it is the literal name of his Ultimate, the one that shatters a mixed spirit in midair and leaves an All-Seeing Domain behind. His Identity is Witness. His Skill grants a buff called Piercing Gaze. His sixth psyche is All-Seeing Eye. The flavor text says he sees all that transpires in Silvernia, and the kit says the same thing four more times in four different places.
That naming runs all the way back to the source. As the name origins breakdown covers, Argos takes his name from Argos Panoptes, the hundred-eyed giant Hera set to guard Io because some of his eyes always stayed open. The title page makes official what the drip marketing had already been hinting: Elementa built the character around the watchman who never goes off duty, then gave him the one job in a city where people volunteer their secrets.
The art plays the "eloquent gent" half rather than the "watcher of the shadows" half. Elementa's card puts him mid-pour, right hand raised in a white glove trickling a red cocktail down onto a silver tray of glasses he is balancing in the other hand, sleeves rolled, blue tie against a dark tuxedo vest, warm gold bar light and shelves of bottles behind him. Note what is missing: the cane gun the flavor text names in the same breath as the shaker is nowhere in frame. The shaker is the whole performance, and the weapon stays out of sight, which is the joke the character is built on.
The badge is worth reading twice too. Argos sits in MISS, the same faction as Alf and Bentham, an organization whose name expands to the Maid Institute, Society, and Services and whose actual remit is a good deal broader than domestic staffing. Our MISS and syndicates guide covers how the faction operates. A bartender who collects testimony from fallen nobles fits that outfit far better than he fits a bar.
Argos's background
In the Dichotomy beta story Argos tends the Memoir Bar, the oak-scented haunt where the returning Detective's journey opens. He greets the Detective like a returning legend, pours a strong sweet house drink called the "city wanderer" on the house, and mentions that a number of people have been waiting on this return, Chief Inspector Lorin among them. Then he offers to secure testimonies "even from the deceased" and casts himself as the assistant rather than the lead: a dash of mixer to complement a strong liquor. Full context in the story recap.
His first psyche is named City Wanderer, after that same drink. The title page, the kit and the script are all pulling on one thread.
Confirmed Stats
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | ★★★★ (4-star) |
| Role | Support |
| Reactor Attribute | Glacies (Ice) |
| Combat Style | Combat Support |
| Identity | Witness |
| Faction | MISS (Maid Institute, Society, and Services) |
| Signature Weapon | Cane Gun |
Argos is a buffer first. His Ultimate hands the whole team a flat ATK bump, his psyches layer team-wide damage amplification and enemy DEF reduction on top, and his own damage is the smaller half of the package.
Skills
Cane and Spirits (Basic Attack)
Press the Basic Attack button to perform a combo of up to 4 hits, dealing Glacies DMG. During Piercing Gaze, the 4th hit automatically becomes an unsheathe attack, and pressing Basic Attack immediately after Parrying an enemy attack unleashes an unsheathe attack on the spot.
Charged Attack: At Lv. 1, hold the Basic Attack button for an upwards unsheathe strike dealing Glacies DMG, with invincibility for the duration. Evade an enemy attack during that window and pressing Basic Attack chains straight into a Lv. 2 Charged Attack. At Lv. 2, holding the button unleashes a triple-strike unsheathe attack. If that attack lands while Argos is under Piercing Gaze, every character on the team deals 10% more damage for 40s. A Perfect Dodge also lets you skip to the Lv. 2 Charged Attack directly.
Pursuit Attack: After Dodging, press the Basic Attack button to unleash a Pursuit Attack dealing Glacies DMG.
Celebratory Champagne (Skill)
Press the Skill button with sufficient Confession to consume all of it and fire the Cane Gun, dealing Glacies DMG. Using the skill grants Piercing Gaze for 10s. Confession caps at 12 and builds at 1 per second, so the gate is time rather than combo execution.
The Eye of Argos (Ultimate)
At full charge, press the Ultimate button to mix a special spirit and shatter it in midair with the Cane Gun, leaving behind an All-Seeing Domain. Enemies inside the domain take continuous Glacies DMG for its 6s duration.
Screwdriver (Tactical Assault)
Switch in the selected character with sufficient Reactor Energy to charge from afar and unleash an unsheathe attack with the Cane Gun, dealing Glacies DMG.
Bartending Insight (Passive)
After Argos unleashes his Ultimate, every character on the team gains 1000 ATK, plus a further 10 ATK per point of Argos's Max HP up to a cap of 150. Lasts 40s.
Psyches
| Psyche | Effect |
|---|---|
| City Wanderer | During Piercing Gaze, Argos's higher-level Charged Attack increases the DMG dealt by all characters on the team by 20% on hit. |
| Non-Violent Communication | Increases Argos's Tactical Assault DMG by 20%. |
| Self-Fulfilling Prophecy | Argos's skills reduce the enemy's DEF by 15% for 40s. |
| Perceptual Blindness | Increases Argos's Ultimate DMG by 10%. |
| Old Reserves | After Argos uses his Ultimate, he increases the Glacies DMG of all characters on the team by 15% for 40s. Does not stack. |
| All-Seeing Eye | During Piercing Gaze, Argos's Final DMG increases by 10%. |
Read the psyche list top to bottom and the design intent is obvious. Four of the six push damage onto everyone else: a 20% team damage bonus, a 15% enemy DEF shred, a 15% team Glacies bonus, and the ATK buff from the passive. Only two of them are about Argos's own numbers. Our Argos build guide covers where that leaves him in a team.
